Installation in WooCommerce

ePay has developed a free payment module for WooCommerce, making it easy to accept payment cards in your online store.

WooCommerce is a free shop plugin for WordPress. You need to install WooCommerce before installing the ePay module.

It's easy to install and use ePay's module. Download the module, and follow 3 simple steps to accept card payments in your online shop.

1. Create an ePay account

You need a test account to try the module. It's free to sign up, and it only takes a few minutes. Once your account is created, you'll receive a unique test merchant number for testing.

Please state that you want a test account in the comment field in step 2. You can disregard prices etc.

When you've tested the module and are ready to accept real payments, simply tell us you're ready and we'll upgrade your test account to a production account. Doing it this way means you don't have to create a new ePay account.

2. Install the ePay module in WooCommerce

Before installing the module, please make a backup of your website.

Download the ePay module, and unzip the file.

Upload the content to your WordPress installation in this folder: /wp-content/plugins/ (You can do this with an FTP client).

Go to your WordPress administration on http://yoururl/wp-admin, and log in.

Click on Plugins in the menu on the left, find the ePay module, and press Activate.

Find the module in Plugins, and press 'Activate'.

Choose WooCommerce in the left menu, and press Settings.

Find WooCommerce in the menu, and choose Settings.

Click on Payment Gateways, and press EPay in the overview at the top. Check the box Enable ePay, and press Save changes at the bottom of the page.

Enter the merchant number you received from ePay in the field Merchant number. Press Save changes at the bottom of the page.

The ePay module is installed. Now make a test payment to see if it works.

3. Test the payment module

It's important to register the domain from which you're testing on your ePay administration in Settings > Payment system. If the domain is not registered correctly, ePay cannot open the payment window and show it to the customer.

Complete a purchase in your store.

Fill in your information, and choose ePay as your payment method. Press Place order, and the payment window will open.

Below you'll find an example of ePay's payment window. You can add your own logo and company information at the top of the window. To do this, go to Settings -> Payment window in your ePay administration.

The customers choose from the payment methods activated on your ePay account.

When the payment is completed, the customer is sent to an order confirmation page.
